Kuleshov Effect.

This is a short film experiment that plays with the concept of the Kuleshov effect, however instead of using a blank expression, I decided to manipulate the emotion of laughter to fit three different scenarios that are all wildly different in terms of tone. Additionally, the accompanying music also greatly affected the tone of each sequence, strengthening it further compared to pure silence. Through doing this, I was able to realise that even the strongest of emotions can be manipulated to fit whatever context is place upon them, leading to many potential avenues for character development.
